Triòd – ETHNOLOJAZZ Traditional Songs and Dances
Stefano Dall’Osso tenor sax and arrangements, Roberto Bartoli double bass, Maurizio Piancastelli trumpet and flugelhorn
This project is an itinerary performance. All the instruments are made from natural materials; wood or reed, as opposed to metal or plastic. Thus the composer offers a sound that is multifaceted and sensorial. You can feel the texture of the instruments, the form, the life, the flautus vocis; In essence – the divine breath. The compositional aspect is not only musical but also analogical: the harmonies for 2 and 3 voices have clear classical and modern contrapuntal coordinates. They are simultaneously living compositions in which the instruments engage in dialogue, sometimes playful and choral, sometimes serious and austere. The element of dance is constant in the compositions: the scores themselves “dance” taking advantage of the movement in the musical currents. Even in the moments when the instruments “sigh” in an almost antiphonal form, they recall the Euro-colored sounds of Paris Blues or those of esoteric Northern Europe.
In the event of rain, the performance will take place.

The Orobic side of Valtellina is charactized by deep valleys. From the “Piano di Spagna” and up to the town of Aprica, there are about fifteen very steep and narrow valleys each with its own specific peculiarity. The Valle Venina is one of these, and it unfolds in four main branches known as the Ambria Valley.
The excursion follows the initial valley to the small town Ambria and offers numerous naturalistic, panoramic and historical points of interest. This proposed hike is organized in collaboration with the Parco delle Orobie Valtellinesi;
