Sudoku Killer, a band led by double bass player Caterina Palazzi, was formed in Rome in 2007. Band members offer their varied professional experiences, ranging from jazz to rock to experimental music .
Their first recording “Sudoku Killer” released in 2010 under the Italian label Zone di Musica, was followed by a tour of over 300 dates in Europe. The presentation of this album, received notoriety in the genre of jazz and alternative rock. During the years spent on tour the band has continued to diverged from its original sound, exploring more acidic and angular territories. The second album INFANTICIDE (Auand 2015) is the result of this second part of the journey. INFANTICIDE is strongly characterized by psychedelic sounds, noise, post-rock and evocative film soundtracks and was presented on a road tour with over 200 European concert dates.

The band has played or shared the stage with Uzeda, ZU, Zeni Geva, Blurt, Gianluca Petrella, Stefano Bollani etc.

2010: On the occasion of the JAZZIT AWARD, Caterina Palazzi was voted Best Italian Composer and SUDOKU KILLER was named second best Italian album.
2015: The new album INFANTICIDE was named among the Best Albums in 2015 by numerous magazines, including Impatto Sonoro, Free Fall Jazz, Son of Marketing, Storia della Musica, Alternitalia, Distorsioni, RomaSuona, RadioEco, Suoni Distorti Magazine, Indiana Music Magazine. That same year Caterina Palazzi was recognized among the best new talents in the TOP JAZZ 2015.

In 2022 Caterina is now considered one the 20 best Italian bassists ever by ROCKIT magazine.

The third album, darker and more violent than the previous ones, was released in 2018 by the prestigious Clean Feed Records label and was followed by over 250 European tour dates.

The fourth album was released in Spring 2023.
