Luca Zennaro and Michelangelo Scandroglio – GO THE DISTANCE

The group formed by two of the most interesting and promising musicians on the European jazz scene features a sound that spans the genres of jazz, folk, contemporary.

This duet was “born” on the terraces of Chioggia and “lives” in the streets of Florence. Their shared musical identity enables the two musicians to create new sonic horizons, in part due to the intentional absence of percussion instruments.

Both composers have created a repertoire which features original pieces specially written for this ensemble plus their reinterpretations of some popular music.

This is basically GO THE DISTANCE, a halfway meeting place where one can dream in the past and imagine the future.
