Domenico Rizzuto revisits a series of writings by Giose Rimanelli, the great Molise author, poet and essayist, who lived in the United States at the turn of the century. Rizzuto offers an Italian story of emigration, social roles and innovation; a profound project with a seemingly undeclared goal, but rewritten with a “key” to current events and a “picklock” within a musical notation staff that has not faded with the passing of time.
The live concert proposes a new concept in sound, beginning with the nostalgia triggered by the “whirring” of an old vinyl record and arriving to tell a story, stimulate the audience and create a vivid memory through this sound.
The exploration of different languages, new technologies and the creation of a memorable listening experience are the goals of this project.
Groups are selected under the Bando Nuovo Imaie- Concerts will be sponsored with funds from art.7 L.93/92.
