Are our daily choices and actions really “Green”?
Sometimes very little is needed to live “Green”: sorting waste materials, reducing the use of plastic, decreasing consumption, recycling, etc. These are now widespread practices; but can we still improve?
Certainly, yes!
We should reconsider our current methods of transportation.
Are there some alternatives rather than using a car to come to concerts? Of course!
AmbriaJazz has scheduled some concerts in the afternoon hours so that those who choose to come by foot or bicycle can return home before dark.
For each of these concerts we’ve chosen a location and hour that facilitates a departure and final arrival time either by walking or biking. These are not mandatory routes, however they offer a “green” opportunity to enjoy your travels to the concert sites in good company.
Special recognition and rewards are given to those who choose “green” hiking or biking when coming to concerts such as reserved front row seats, taking selfies with the musicians to share on social media and with friends, and a gift with the AmbriaJazz logo.
Green active participants will be #jazzcamminante honorees for that day.
On the concert dates when there is a chance to participate in #jazzcamminante the information will be posted among the activities of that day, on the same page under the videos of the guest musicians. You will find details giving the departure location and time where you will join other hiking or biking concert attendees. Sign up by emailing info@ambriajazzfestival.it

And if you love biking but don’t have your own bicycle you can rent one with a 30% discount, thanks to the collaboration with our friends at Valtelbike. Recommendation: make a reservation a couple of days in advance to ensure that you get the right bike for your height and weight. There is also the option of reserving an electric bike.
